I did another Google search on “Detresse”, you know, just for the hell of it, and guess what?  The new cover shows up as image number 4, posted from this site!  It’s also interesting to see that the original cover for issue 2 as posted at Chad-Heinrich-fans.deviantart.com shows up as image 9!  And that is on a full image search with safe search turned off…  Pretty neat.

The website doesn’t come up in the web search, but the store comes up at number 6 and the MySpace page is number 7.  Still pretty cool.  Of course, add “comic” to that and the website shows up as numero uno…  Still, though, it’d be cool to see it on the front page with just “Detresse” for the search term…

The store comes up as number 15 in the list.

This is colored in b&w (does that makes sense? ), and I think it came out fairly cool…

Where I’m concerned, I’ve definitely been busy. My day job has got me going, plus the projects I have going on the side are keeping me busy as well–but that’s all good. I’m hoping these side projects will help with getting Detresse out there.

So, yeah, don’t worry people… Detresse is still in the works.

BTW, don’t lament the old cover, I’m sure it’s going to rear its head at a later date.

Yeah, this has absolutely nothing to do with Detresse, although I do feel their music would fit in a Detresse soundtrack!

If you haven’t already heard, Nine Inch Nails, as a gesture of thanks to their fans, is allowing free downloads of their new album The Slip.  To download, head on over to nin.com and click the link to download.  You’ll have to enter a valid email address, to which you’ll receive a link to the true download page along with a token (or password) that will allow you into the download area.  You’ll have different formats available to download, and they are DRM free (which means the files are not restricted for play on one player or computer). Hurry, cause I don’t know for how long he (Trent Reznor) intends to keep the album download available.

Kinda makes you feel guilty, eh?

Oh, and if you do a little surfing on their site, you can download remixes of NIN songs made by professionals and fans, AND you can download multitrack files that you can use to create your own remixes that you can then post (just don’t sell them–at least not without permission ).  Sweet, eh?
